As the New Year approaches and I reflect on the past this saying is most perfect to me. It reminds me of my childhood on the farm with my grandparents. Hours spent in the chill of winter looking out the big windows of the house across the fields. Much time to think of life’s lessons learned and the expection of growth to come. I can hear the wind whistling at a high pitch as it blows the snow softly across acres of land – as far as I can see.
