Want a chance to talk with health care and end-of-life professionals and peers from the comfort of your own home? We’ve compiled the list below of Twitter chats on a variety of health care and end-of-life topics. Through these regularly-scheduled chats, you can connect with professionals in the field as well as others like you interested in these topics, right through your Twitter account.
A Twitter chat is an interactive conversation via a Twitter hashtag, scheduled for a specific time.
If you’ve never joined a Twitter chat before, don’t be intimidated! Here are some simple steps for getting involved:
1. Go to tweetchat.com and sign up or sign in with your Twitter account.
2. Enter the chat name into the box between the hashtag (#) and the “Go” button.
3. Enter your greeting to let everyone know you’re there. The chat’s hashtag will be automatically added to the end of any tweets entered through TweetChat.
4. Follow along as messages come up on the page, and ask and answer questions to join the discussion. All of your messages entered through the chat will also appear in your regular Twitter feed.
