There are very few people on the planet who haven’t heard of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The former WWE superstar turned actor is one of the best known Hollywood personalities in the world. His chiseled good looks and to-die-for body have earned him millions of fans, including one feisty grandmother who keeps a life-sized cutout of Johnson in his WWE days next to her hospice bed.

Judy Rosenberg is 76 years old and dying from pancreatic cancer. But she hasn’t let that dampen her enthusiasm for the 45-year old actor, on whom she admittedly has a long-standing crush. In fact, a couple of her “bucket list” items included hearing The Rock call her “sexy” and seeing him blow her a kiss. So after getting an email from Rosenberg’s granddaughter telling him her story, Johnson took to Instagram and did exactly that.

On October 8, Johnson posted a video in which he talks about receiving the email, the subject of which was “a favor on behalf of my grandma from The Rock.” He talks about Judy’s devotion to her husband of 57 years and her “matriarch” status within the family, which includes five children and 17 grandchildren. He even mentions Judy’s self-proclaimed “potty mouth” and tells a slightly off-color joke “because I know you’d appreciate it.” And last but not least, he tells her she’s sexy and blows her a kiss.

Alongside the video is a message that says. “Stay strong Judy, you sexy tiger. We’re all sending you and your family love and light during this time and I’m an extremely grateful man this email reached my eyes. this kind of stuff will always be the best part of fame. Thx U Universe.”

We don’t know how Judy reacted to the post, but I’m pretty sure it made her day.

Not A First

The Instagram shout out to Mrs. Rosenberg isn’t the first time The Rock has reached out to a special fan. In September, he met with 10-year-old Jacob O’Connor, a real-life hero who in August had saved his 2-year old brother’s life by pulling the unconscious toddler from a swimming pool and performing CPR. Jacob said he learned the skill by watching Johnson perform the maneuver on his on-screen daughter in the 2015 film “San Andreas,” Jacob’s favorite movie. When he met with Johnson, he was wearing a t-shirt with a photo of Johnson’s two puppies, whom the actor had saved from drowning in a swimming pool.

A one time People Magazine “sexiest man alive” and the highest paid actor in the world in 2016, Dwayne Johnson is also a philanthropist. In 2006, he formed the Dwayne Johnson Rock Foundation, a nonprofit that provides programs for disadvantaged, at-risk and hospitalized youth. And in 2007, he and his ex-wife Dany Garcia donated $1 million to the University of Miami’s athletic department to renovate its football facilities. Both he and Garcia attended the university, and Johnson played defensive tackle on the national-championship-winning Miami Hurricanes in 1991.
