Long sunset shadows

chill his bones. He skulks low,

hidden in the gloom.

Cog, integral to

the quiet wooded coomb.

A Dying Man’s Daily Journal

Bill began his blog Dying man’s daily journal after surviving four heart attacks and a brain tumor, and finally hearing from his doctor, “You are dying.” Through this journal Bill shares the revelations that are coming to him as a result of the dramatic change to his perception on life. He states:

Hearing the words “you are dying” come out of your doctors mouth, tends to really catch your attention, or at least it did in my case. I can now see that it was indeed at that moment, the “transformation” of my thinking began in earnest.
